The first episode of The Code is, as will be all, an experimentation in the manner and style in which it is presented.

This episode features Circus of the Seed, a band from Jackson, Mississippi that has played around the south for several years now. They performed for us in the PEG Studios in downtown Jackson in November 2007. Check them out at myspace.com/circusoftheseed

Jarad Wilson - Drums
Barry Shannon - Bass
Stephen Phillips - Vocals/Trumpet
Jaysun Daniel - Guitars

This Orange Four also came into the PEG Studios from Hattiesburg, Mississippi to perform several songs. Their music is extremely colorful and visual. Many of their members perform in other bands that travel the US to perform and will hopefully be featured on The Code in upcoming episodes. Check them out at myspace.com/thisorangefour

Finally, Ape Champ graced The Code with sending in a self-produced, psychedelic video that will be sure to make you laugh and dance. Be sure to watch this very creative and visual video all the way through! You can check them out at myspace.com/apechamp

All intros were shot in midtown Jackson, MS with your host, Daniel Guaqueta. We stopped in Fenian’s Pub to shoot the outro (notice Jared of Circus of the Seed working the bar in the background?!). Hope you enjoyed, cheers!
